How do I take a screenshot?
Sometimes a picture says more than 1,000 words. For certain problems, our support team may ask you to send a screenshot. Here is a short guide on how to do that.Android
On Android, taking a screenshot is not the same on all devices. On many devices you need to press and hold the 'Volume Down' button and the 'Power' button at the same time for 12 seconds. On other devices you need to press and hold the 'Home' button and the 'Power' button for 12 seconds.The screen will then flash white, or you may hear the camera sound, and the whole screen will be saved as a photo in your Photos or Gallery app.
iOS
To take a screenshot with an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, press and hold the 'Sleep/Wake' button and then immediately press the 'Home' button briefly. The screen will flash briefly, and the entire screen will be saved as an image in the Photos app.Windows
To capture an image of the entire screen, press the 'Print Screen' key (PrtScn) in the top-right of your keyboard. Windows will capture the entire screen and copy it to the clipboard.If you only want to copy the current window, hold the 'Alt' key and press 'Print Screen'. This will capture only the current window and copy it to the clipboard.
To paste the image somewhere, hold the 'Ctrl' key and press 'V'. This will insert the most recent clipboard content into your currently open image or document.
Windows Phone
To take a screenshot, press the Power button and the Volume Up button at the same time. If that doesn't work, try the Power button together with the Volume Down button.The screenshot will be saved in the Photos app, in the Screenshots album.
Mac
To capture the entire screen, hold down the „⌘command“ and ⇧ keys and press „§3“. The whole screen will be captured and saved as a file on the desktop. The filename will have the following format: „Screen Shot 2017-01-01 at 12.15.00.png“If you only want to copy the current window, hold down the „⌘command“ and ⇧ keys and press „$4“. Then press the Spacebar and click the window you want to capture, or drag with the mouse to draw a rectangle around the area you want to capture. This will be saved as a file on the desktop in the format described above.
To save the screenshot only to the clipboard rather than as a file, also hold down the „control“ key in addition to the keyboard shortcut described above.
To paste the copy from the clipboard into the document you currently have open, hold down the „⌘command“ key and press „V“
