Guest account or user account
A guest account is an account without a username or email address, making it virtually anonymous. This means it is subject to certain limitations:
- A guest account cannot be used to log in on another device. This also applies if the device is lost. With a registered user account, you can simply open the app on another device and log in to your existing user account using your login details. This gives you immediate access to your data, and you can also alternate between multiple devices.
- With a guest account, we do not have your email address. This means that we cannot send you the PDF report by email.
- Because we do not have your email address, you also cannot receive our Infomail. It contains valuable information about managing high blood pressure and everything associated with it.
- In the event of critical errors, you will receive our warnings only in the app. We can also contact registered customers by email.

Data privacy:
Tensana has always been operated according to the highest data privacy standards. Data privacy is more than just a catchphrase to us. We have never tracked our users and do not do so now. We do not request any information that is not absolutely necessary to operate the service (data minimization). The data is stored on our servers in Germany and is never processed or shared with third parties unless requested*.

Data security:
In addition to data privacy, data security naturally also plays a role. We follow the guidelines of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and regularly conduct penetration tests. This is complemented by our founder's 40 years of experience in IT.
Even after registering, you will not receive a flood of emails from us. High blood pressure is a complex subject, and there are many questions. Our aim is to provide our users with comprehensive information about it. Immediately after registering, you will receive a welcome email containing some information, followed by our Tensana Infomail twice a week. Like a course, each installment builds on the previous one and provides information about blood circulation, measuring devices, medications, and much more. Feedback from our customers has been very positive. Many even use the option to save the emails as PDFs because the content is so valuable that they want to archive or even print it. Anyone who does not like the Infomail at all can unsubscribe from it.
We send very few other emails. If you do not use your account for a longer period, we will ask whether there is anything we can do or notify you that it will be automatically deleted after two years of inactivity. Occasionally, we may send a special offer, for example.
